Oak-0000000135 - As-Needed Dental Services

Oakland County has issued this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeking to contract with multiple dental vendors to provide general dental services.  The objective is to provide basic dental services to adult and children residing in Oakland County who are income eligible without dental insurance.

The County has issued this RFQ to expand the selection of dental providers who are willing and able to provide general dental services at our pre-established rates through the Oakland County Dental Program. 

The County will select any number of providers to add to a list of “approved dental providers” as it deems sufficient to meet its needs. Formal engagement of any provider is conditioned upon the successful completion of the contracting process to set fees and terms.

Selection for engagement does not guarantee an assignment of a patient on a rotating or minimum basis.

Dental providers currently engaged by the County shall not be required to respond to this RFQ unless they wish the County to consider expanding the scope of their current practice area services.
