005527 - Backflow Certification & Repair

Under direction of authorized Oakland County staff, vendor shall provide annual certification for approximately fifty (50) backflow preventers ranging from half-inch to 10 inches or larger in size, that are located at various facilities in Oakland County.  All certifications must be performed by an American Society of Sanitary Engineering (ASSE) 5110 certified tester. Upon completion of each certification, the vendor shall complete an appropriate ASSE test form or an approved WRC device test form for each backflow preventer and submit said forms, both passing and failing, to the WRC Cross Connection Unit.
