005019 - Dental Services

Oakland County adults and children residents who are income eligible, without dental insurance (including Medicaid, Healthy Michigan Plan, Healthy Kids and MIChild).  This population is in need of routine oral examination, cleaning, treatment for dental caries, and other selected dental procedures (see attachments C and D).  This population often has a history of presenting with conditions like pain and swelling requiring same day dental evaluations.  These clients may require extractions and some surgical procedures; therefore, selected vendors must demonstrate the capacity to provide these services within each office, rather than referring out.
