004078 - Inmate Accounts and General Collections

Oakland County Purchasing unit on behalf of the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to provide collections for the County fulfilling two objectives.  The primary objective will be collections of inmate room and board charges in connection with Public Act 118 of 1984 (“The Prisoner Reimbursement to the County Act”).  The secondary objective of this RFP will be to provide other County departments with various other collection services.  The winning proposer will be awarded a one (1) year professional services contract (PSC), with the option to renew for two (2) additional years.  Insurance is Required.  See Solicitation Documents (004078 SOL) for insurance requirements and Attachment D (004078 ATT D) for a sample Certificate of Insurance.
