The Oakland County Procurement Division, on behalf of the Recreation Programs & Services division of Parks, is requesting proposals for a variety of inflatable mobile recreation units, recreation attractions, inflatable movie screens, and durable long lasting self-contained for easy portability carnival games, team building equipment or group games.
We are looking to award to multiple companies with blanket contracts based on offerings available. Each item could be awarded separately if necessary.
You do not need to bid on all items listed to be selected for an award. Open to alternate options.
Items will be ordered on an As-Needed Basis.
In addition to and in support of our 14 park facilities, Oakland County Parks and Recreation has a robust Recreation Programs and Services (RPS) unit that provides programming and support throughout the park system as well as to local communities, non-profit organizations and other partners. The RPS unit helps to activate our parks and facilities by providing unique and exciting programs and events that bring people to our parks.
OCPR’s Mobile Recreation section has a variety of mobile units that can be utilized throughout the county. We are constantly evaluating and managing our fleet of mobile units to meet the needs of local communities and park users. Historically mobile units could be rented for a fee and were also provided free of charge as part of the RAPP program. Current mobile units include: • Inflatable bouncers and mazes • Rock climbing tower • Mobile stages • Regional events • Bleachers • Inflatable movie screen • GO! Adventure trailers (fishing, golf)
The RPS unit develops and provides programs, special events and activities throughout the park system that bring in visitors and provide unique experiences for park users. Example programs include campground recreation programs, nature hikes, history programs, seasonal/holiday programs, etc.
