Description

Oakland County Purchasing, on behalf of the Oakland County Treasury, is soliciting proposals for two note counters and currency discriminator services. Oakland County and the selected vendor will enter into a contract renewable for a maximum of five (5) years.

Contractor shall provide currency discriminator services for Oakland County Treasurer’s Office, to check authenticity of bank notes and verify value of banknotes received from customers. Oakland County Treasurer’s Office receives banknotes daily from customers making Delinquent Tax payments, as well as receiving deposits from other Oakland County departments. Banknote volume for one deposit can vary from $1.00-$100,000.00.
