Oak-0000000805 - WRC Crossings Water Storage Project

Electronic sealed Bids will be received by the Owner for construction of the Crossings Water Storage Project.
The project primarily consists of the construction of the following major components: a new one-million-gallon brick-clad AWWA Type 3 ground storage tank and foundation, a new 3.6 million gallon per day booster pump station building including foundation, improvements to the existing Crossings Well House including selective demolition as required, a new back-up generator with automatic transfer switch, installation of SCADA remote monitoring elements, new water main, site improvements and paving, new storm drain, and a new stormwater detention pond.
A. The Contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder, subject to the final approval by the Owner. The Contract will be awarded subject to receipt of funds to finance the project and acquisition of easements, during which time the Bids of the lowest three responsive, responsible Bidders will be held. B. The party to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to execute the Agreement and obtain the Performance Bond, Labor and Material Bond and Maintenance and Guarantee Bond and shall provide proofs of insurance coverage in accordance with the Contract Documents within ten (10) calendar days of the delivery date of the Notice of Award to the successful Bidder. The necessary Agreement and Bond forms shall accompany the Notice of Award. If the Contractor awarded the project fails to execute the Agreement, submit the Performance Bond, Labor and Material Bond and Maintenance and Guarantee Bond and
provide proof of insurance coverage in accordance with the Contract Documents within ten (10) calendar days of the delivery date of the Notice of Award, Owner may declare the Contractor in default, in which case the Bid Bond accompanying the Bid will be forfeited to Owner
