The Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner (OCWRC) operates and maintains the Commerce Twp. Wastewater Treatment Plant (COT WWTP), which currently operates and maintains six (6) Oxidation Ditches. Each Oxidation Ditch contains submersible mixers that are removed for maintenance or replacement via removeable hoists/cranes. There are a total of 8 hoists that require replacement.
Oakland County Purchasing Division, on behalf of OCWRC is seeking bids for Wilo 250Kg (550lb) Hoists as detailed below and in the drawing specifications attached. This solicitation includes the provision, shipping, delivery, and warranty of the specified product.
Approved product includes:
A. WILO E/EH250kg (No. Plh037) – equipment drawing attached
The product shall meet the following criteria:
A. Galvanized steel post construction
B. Reach of 1035mm from the centerline of the vertical mast
C. Lifting capacity of 250kg at 1035mm from the centerline of the vertical mast
D. Allowable lifting height of 2500mm above the floor when in the pre-existing mounting bracket
E. Able to fit in and swivel inside pre-existing WILO brand floor mount socket measuring: 89mm diameter by 400mm height
F. Includes adjustable height hand winch with brake
G. Includes winch capable of receiving a 0.25-inch dia. steel cable
H. Includes head pulley supplied with hoist
Contractor shall unload the item at the address listed below, during facility operating hours (7am to 3 pm). The item shall come ready for immediate use.
