Summary of Specifications:
The Board of Education of Oakland Schools which is located at 2111 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford, MI 48328 is accepting bids for a General Contractor to complete a White Box Build Out for its Career Connection Building located through 1850 N. Perry Street, Pontiac, Michigan in accordance with the attached specifications. One original and three (3) copy shall be received no later than December 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., local time as established by the U.S. Atomic Digital clock (http://nist.time.gov) and shall be clearly labeled “Attn: IFB #14.0011 – Career Connection White Box Build Out”. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to ensure their bid reaches Oakland Schools on or before the closing date and hour as indicated. Bids will only be accept via hand delivery December 27, 2013 between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Late bids will NOT be accepted. Oakland Schools Career Connection Building has vacant space that is an empty box with no finishes or utilities where new construction is required to prepare the space for a tenant. The construction work consists of these major components: rooftop heating, ventilating, and air conditioning units; ductwork; electrical service including lighting and outlets; paint the floor; two (2) offices; a dropped ceiling; insulation, drywall and paint on the exterior walls; a handicap accessible toilet room and an additional door on the south wall of the space.
