Summary of Specifications:
Oakland Schools is requesting proposals for Custodial Services for its Administration building, the Summit Campus, White Oaks, and the Michigan Works! JobLink Service Center locations. The awarded Offeror will provide the necessary labor, equipment, supplies, and supervision for all custodial services at the Oakland Schools Administration Building, 2111 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford, MI 48328; Summit Campus, 2230 Mall Drive East, Waterford, MI 48328; White Oaks, 2805 Pontiac Lake Rd, Waterford, MI 48328; and Michigan Works! JobLink Service Center, 1850 N. Perry Street, Pontiac, MI 48340. NOTE: This Request for Proposal does not require custodial services for Oakland Schools’ Technical Campuses locations.
The Board of Education of Oakland Schools, 2111 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford, MI 48328 is accepting proposals for CUSTODIAL SERVICES RFP #16-0009 in accordance with the attached specifications. All proposals shall be received no later than MARCH 15, 2016 2:00 p.m. EST, as established by the U.S. Atomic Digital clock (http://nist.time.gov). It is the sole responsibility of the Offeror to ensure their proposal reaches Oakland Schools on or before the closing date and hour as indicated. Late proposals will NOT be accepted.
Proposals postdated will constitute as late. All late Proposals will be rejected and destroyed after ten (10) days, unless otherwise notified to return to the Offeror, at the Offeror’s expense.
Each Offeror shall hand deliver or express mail one (1) hard copy of the proposal and one (1) USB flash drive of the proposal. In addition, each Offeror shall provide one (1) copy of the completed Appendix A: Fee Proposal in a separate sealed envelope clearly marked “Appendix A: Fee Proposal”. Pricing shall not be referenced anywhere else in the Proposal documents.
A mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference/Walk-through will be held on March 2, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. EST beginning in ROOM 170 at Oakland Schools, 2111 Pontiac Lake Rd., Waterford, MI 48328, then proceeding to Summit Campus, 2230 Mall Drive East, Waterford MI, 48328, on to White Oaks, 2805 Pontiac Lake Rd, Waterford, MI 48328, and ending at Michigan Works! JobLink Service Center, 1850 North Perry Street, Pontiac, MI 48340. Offerors that do not comply with this request WILL BE disqualified from the proposal process.
