Description

Oakland Schools is requesting proposals for an online secure database in which school users refer students to Oakland Schools truancy office. Written for MAC and PC platforms as well as mobile devices and tablets. Initial referral will include student demographic information as well as contact information, attendance history, and school interventions. The student record generated by the referral will be a secure method of communication between the truancy office and the school. Log entries will track updates provided by the school user and the truant officer, as well as storing related documents.

A parallel track of the application will track similar information for students referred to a truancy prevention program, with the ability to move students to the truancy track if necessary.

Reporting will be a key component of the application, with the ability to select various criteria to be used to communicate information to stakeholders, as well as compare information between years.

See RFP 23-0004 for PHYSICAL submission instructions. Only physical proposals will be accepted. Electronic submission to BidNet Direct will not be accepted by Oakland Schools. Each Bidder shall deliver proposals in writing. Each bidder shall include one (1) hard copy original proposal and one (1) USB flash drive of the proposal delivered via: a) hand delivered; b) registered or certified mail; or c) a nationally recognized overnight air courier. In addition, each Bidder shall provide one (1) copy of the fee proposal in a separate sealed envelope clearly marked Fee Proposal and saved as a separate file on USB flash drive.
