2018-001 - Legal Services

The Regional Transit Authority of Southeast Michigan is seeking to retain legal services to support the agency in its delivery of the mission and core responsibilities as defined in existing policies and enabling statute (MI P.A. 387, 2012, as amended).   RTA may require general legal services including trial and appellate advocacy in the prosecution and defense of matters, as well as, legal opinions and counsel on a wide range of topics. This proposal is expected to culminate in the award of one or more non-exclusive contracts. The contract(s) will be for a three-year term. This contract is for new litigation files assigned to counsel on or after contract award, however at the time there are no claims in litigation.
 
The RTA requests proposals from qualified professionals (hereinafter referred to as CONTRACTOR) to provide Legal Services in the area of General Corporate law and Labor and Employment law in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in this solicitation.
