SEMCOG is seeking consultant assistance to work in partnership for a range of infrastructure planning and engineering tasks. Work will be developed jointly as the work on regional asset management planning proceeds. Work orders by task will be issued and charged based on the cost schedule per the RFQ.
Following the completion of the Michigan Infrastructure Asset Management Pilot Program, SEMCOG will assist in the development of components of a regional framework for successful infrastructure asset management planning for the region. This includes assistance in underground infrastructure data collection, planning and analysis, including water, sewer, and stormwater, as well as analysis and coordination with other infrastructure types. Tasks associated with this as-needed contract will require expertise in planning, engineering, asset management, underground infrastructure challenges, utility construction and condition and criticality assessment methodologies, data collection, GIS programs and other information systems / software associated with work management, asset management and utility condition assessments.
