Additional Bidding Instructions

1. Sealed Bids for the Brownstown Charter Township Community Center Renovation and Addition for

Brownstown Michigan will be received by Brownstown Township Clerk, 21313 Telegraph Rd, Brownstown
Twp, MI 48313, 2:00 pm local time, on Friday, January 31, 2024. Deliveries after the cut-off time
will not be accepted. Bids will be privately opened.

2. The principal items of work consist of the following: Renovation and addition to the Brownstown
Community Center, including associated site work.

3. Bidders may contact Trenton Printing Inc. at (734) 675-3255 to purchase sets. Bid Documents will be
available on the following plan room sites:

4. There is a pre-bid walk-through scheduled for 10 a.m., Tuesday January 14, 2025.

5. Questions will be accepted until 5:00 pm, Tuesday, January 21, 2025, and should be directed IN
WRITING to Kim Nye at Sidock Group, Inc. email: knye@sidockgroup.com .

6. The intent of the Owner is to award one (1) Contract for the entire project.

7. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid guarantee which may be in the form of cash or a cashier’s
check in an amount not less than 5% of the bid, payable to “Brownstown Charter Township,” or an
approved Performance Bond or Bid Bond for not less than 5% of the bid.

8. Bids shall remain firm and shall not be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after bid
opening.

9. Brownstown Charter Township reserves the right to accept, reject or negotiate any or all bids to waive
or not waive informalities or irregularities in the bids or bidding procedures and to accept any bid
determined by the Owner to be in the best interest of the Owner, regardless of price.
