Summary of Specifications:
The Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART) is seeking a qualified vendor to perform all maintenance of 295+/- bus stop shelters in Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties of Michigan. Shelters are primarily of three types: 1) “standard” shelters that have an aluminum finish, 2) “Gateway” shelters that are green in color and may have advertising panels and 3) “Sunset” design shelters that have an aluminum anodized finish. Approximately 84 shelters are the Gateway type; the remainders are a mix of the other design styles. In the future, it is possible for SMART to purchase different shelter models than those currently in place.
