Summary of Specifications:
Required elements of Pool Tables quotes are as follows:
Vendor to provide new, or with SMART’s approval reconditioned equipment, at the beginning of the contract.
Replacement of equipment shall be made as required by observance of wear or if requested by SMART’S Procurement Department.
All licenses, taxes and other fees are to be paid by the vendor and are not to be deducted from any commission. All machines must be must be properly licensed and license displayed, if applicable.
Pool tables are to be located at the Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne terminals.
SMART reserves the right to eliminate any pool table for quality reasons.
SMART reserves the right to increase or decrease equipment at any location and if necessary to add or delete a location (s).
Vendor is responsible for all equipment and maintenance, including cleaning on both internal and external components of all equipment furnished by the vendor and a coin collection schedule.
Vendor shall maintain pool table to a useable level, replenishing chalk, cues, and cue tips as necessary.
Upon any termination or expiration of the contract, the contractor shall remove all of its property from SMART’S premises within 10 days after notification and shall leave all premises in good clean conditions. Any property not removed shall become the sole property of SMART.
Sales and commission reports are to be monthly by location and tables/machines.
Monthly commission checks and reports are to be delivered to SMART by the 15th day of the month for the previous month.
Method of how sales for commission purposes are audited and how refunds are to be paid is to be established by the vendor and approved by SMART’s Procurement Department.
Refunds are the sole responsibility of the vendor. Refunds will not be deducted from sales or commissions. A monthly report of refunds by location and commodity grouping are to be submitted monthly with sales and commission reports.
Utility service will be provided by SMART. Hook-up to equipment would be the vendor’s responsibility.
