2021-006 - Denton Road Water Main Reconstruction Project

PLEASE READ BID DOCUMENTS

Project located at Old Michigan Avenue East of Rawsonville Road and South of Michigan Avenue and at the Denton Road and US-12 Intersection in Van Buren Township, MI.

The approximate quantities of the major items of Work are:
• Provide Maintenance of Traffic.
• Furnish and install Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control measures (silt fence and inlet protection, 265 ft. and 6 ea., respectively).
• Install new 12” ductile iron water main, approximately 54 ft.
• Install new 12” HDPE water main, directionally drilled, approximately 219 ft.
• Install new 12” ductile water main with nitrile gaskets, approximately 123 ft.
• Install clay plug around water main, approximately 20 ft.
• Install new hydrant and new gate valve and well (1 ea. and 2 ea. respectively).
• Repair existing HMA pavement following Wayne County Standards, approximately 108 sq. yd.
• Provide topsoil, seed, fertilizer and mulch blanket.
