Summary of Specifications:
Sealed bids for the tear off and replacement of the roof at 15944 W. 13 Mile Road, Beverly Hills, MI 48025 will be received by Karla Chambers, Asset Mgr for Community Housing Network, the Property Mgmt Co. for the owner, Springhill Housing until 10:00 a.m., local time, on Thursday, April 23, 2009, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read. Bids submitted after the exact time specified for receipt will not be considered. This is a Federally Funded project. The Contractor and Subcontractors on this project must comply with HUD contract provisions 24CFR part 85.36(i), the Davis-Bacon Act, Nondiscrimination, Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action, Section 3 requirements, Anti-Kickback Act, Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act and Department of Labor Standards and Regulations as set forth in the Contract Bid Documents. Bidders may pick up bid packets on or after April 9, 2009 at the offices of Community Housing Network, 570 Kirts Blvd, Ste 231, Troy, MI 48083, 248-928-0111 ext 201. Each bid shall be submitted on the proposal form provided and shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, executed by the bidder and Surety Company, payable to Springhill Housing in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the total bid project.
