Description

The Village of Blissfield has 25 FTE and operates under a Council-Administrator form of government. The Village Council consists of seven (7) elected members. The president serves at the head of the Council. The Administrator directs all Village operations. The Village anticipates that submitted proposals will identify a lead Attorney that works on all Village matters, or one attorney that works solely on civil matters and another that solely works on criminal matters. Proposals may be submitted as a combined attorney and/or one of the other options.

All Proposals are due and must be delivered to the Village Clerk on or before March 4, 2022 by 5:00pm (local time). Proposals submitted late or via oral, telephonic, telegraphic, electronic mail or facsimile will not be considered or accepted.

Proposal submitted must be clearly marked: Village Attorney Services for the Village of Blissfield and then list Respondent’s name and address.

Proposals must be addressed and delivered to: Village of Blissfield 130 S. Lane St. PO BOX 129 Blissfield, MI 49228. The Village will not be liable to any Respondent for any unforeseen circumstances, delivery or postal delays. Postmarking on the Due Date will not substitute for receipt of the Proposal. Each Respondent is responsible for submission of their Proposal. Additional time will not be granted to a single Respondent; however, additional time may be granted to all Respondents when the Village determines that circumstances warrant it.
