The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain bids from qualified CONTRACTORS to provide the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform land clearing (tree and brush removal) services and legally dispose of all removed materials in Lyndon Township, Michigan.

OWNER shall have the clearing limits marked in the field by a surveyor prior to beginning work. Note, that due to the potential presence of the Eastern Massasagua Rattlesnake in the project area, no ground disturbing activities (i.e. stump removal or excavation) are permitted within certain portions of the project.
All requirements and specifications as described in the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) “2012 Standard Specifications for Construction” and “MDOT Road and Bridge Standard Plans”, or as adopted by the Michigan Department of Transportation, shall be adhered to unless otherwise stated in the proposal.
Bidders must complete the Experience and Qualifications section of this RFP. Based on the response to this RFP, including, experience, ability, financial standing, and bid prices submitted, the County will select a CONTRACTOR to best provide the required services.
