RFP-6815 - Demolition of Buildings & Removal of Solid Waste Debris

Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain bids from qualified CONTRACTORS to provide the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to demolish buildings and remove all unwanted surficial debris from five sites in Washtenaw County. Three sites are parks and two are Natural Areas preserves. 

The bidder must demonstrate knowledge and considerable experience in demolition and site restoration. Bidders must complete the Experience and Qualifications section of this RFP. A Lump Sum bid price and Unit Prices are requested for these services. Based on the response to this RFP, including experience, ability, financial standing and bid prices submitted, the County will select a CONTRACTOR to provide the required services. 

The County wants this work to begin on or about March 1, 2015 (depending on soil and frost conditions (Frost Laws)) with substantial completion of two or more sites by April 30, 2015.
