Washtenaw County Purchasing Division on behalf of the Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission invites bids for a Garden and Playground Improvements at County Farm Park, 2230 Platt Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48104. Work to be done includes the installation of safety surfacing, windmill, bronze farm animal statuary, water tanks, climbing boulders, sheds, pergola, raised planting beds, and related site work. Surfacing includes limestone walks, wood fiber, and sand with natural boulders. Owner seeks general contractor bids. Plans and specifications may be secured on or after 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 7, 2006 from the Washtenaw County Purchasing Division located at 220 North Main Street, Room B-35, Lower Level, Ann Arbor, MI 48104. Construction documents are available at a non-refundable cost of $50 per set (checks only – made payable to Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission).
