RFP-6459 - Removal of Solid Waste Debris at Independence Lake Park

Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain bids to provide the services required to remove unwanted solid materials on 10 acres of land purchased by Washtenaw County as an addition to Independence Lake County Park. The material consists of, but is not limited to, broken concrete, scrap metal, tree stumps, old boundary fencing (approximately 2000 lf) and miscellaneous debris. As far as is known at present none of the materials is hazardous in nature. Nonetheless, the materials must all be removed from the property and disposed of legally. The contractor must provide receipts showing that the materials have been taken to and left at a facility that is legally permitted to accept them.
