Summary of Specifications:
Washtenaw County invites bids for new construction of two freestanding restrooms at two different locations within Pierce Lake Golf Course and Park, located at 1175 S. Main Street – Chelsea. Work includes demolition and removal of existing vault toilets and replacement with two new masonry comfort stations of approximately 225 SQFT each, with a large roof overhang. Building trades include demolition, masonry carpentry, roofing, concrete placement, painting, electrical and mechanical. There is extensive site work that includes bringing water, sanitary sewer and power to each building with directional boring. Owner seeks general contractor bids. The project has an essential construction completion date of June 15, 2006. A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at 10:00AM at the Park Headquarters project site. Detailed specifications and plans will be available on Monday, February 12, 2006 at the Washtenaw County Finance/Purchasing Department located at 220 North Main Street, Room B-35, Lower Level, Ann Arbor, MI. There is a $25.00 non-refundable fee for the plans with a maximum of 3 sets per bidder. Payment must be in the form of a check made payable to the Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission.
