RFP-6859 - Shoreline Stabilization at Sharon Mills County Park

Summary of Specifications:
The work involves acquiring required permits, the lowering of the water level and returning the water to the existing level, site clearing and soil removal, removal of existing armoring, separation of field stones from existing armoring, supply and installation of geotextile fabric, new limestone rip-rap armoring and soil fill, site grading and restoration as defined in the bid documents. 

This project is similar in scope to a previously released request for proposal (RFP #6853) at this site. The shoreline armoring materials have been changed in the new RFP to reduce overall project expense. Individuals/companies recorded in attendance at the previously held mandatory pre-bid meeting for RFP #6853 need not attend the advertised pre-bid meeting for this RFP #6859 unless they elect to. They will be eligible to submit bids for this project.
