The project’s intent is to construct a small pedestrian plaza to celebrate women’s athletics and achievements locally and nationally. It is located along the Border to Border Trail in Dexter-Huron Metropark, Scio Township, MI. Work consists of site grading, gravel base construction, installation of unit pavers, quarried stone wall blocks, concrete flatwork, concrete foundations (includes rebar), site restoration, installation of steel panel artwork (artwork is provided by owner under separate fabrication contract), installation of interpretive signs (provided by owner), and related work.
