RFP-6267 - Weatherization Program for Washtenaw County

Summary of Specifications:
Washtenaw County, Michigan is accepting quotations for insulation contracting services for the Weatherization (WX) Program. The Weatherization Program performs insulation, various energy related improvements and alterations for qualified low-income clients. Washtenaw County Weatherization Program services approximately 100 homes per year. Work may be minimal to extensive, i.e. (caulking & weather stripping to sidewall & attic insulation, or re-roofing, etc.) As many as 50% of the units may be mobile homes. 

Washtenaw County is requesting an open bid process until 06/31/2008. Contractors can respond to this RFP after the due date of April 4, 2006 to request to be qualified for this program. This will insure that an adequate list of qualified vendors will be available. 

The successful contractor(s) will be responsible for such weatherization measures called for by program guidelines as outlined in the State of Michigan Department of Human Services Weatherization field manual.
