Summary of Specifications:
Bids are being solicited by the Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) for building demolition projects at Detroit Wayne County Metropolitan Airport. These projects will be bid and awarded in two separate Bid Packages: Package A: Abatement of hazardous materials, utility disconnect and/or reroute and building demolition and site restoration for Building 278 (former aircraft hangar), Bldg 278 Boiler House and Bldg 538 (former aircraft hangar), and, Package B: Abatement of hazardous materials, utility disconnect and/or reroute and building demolition and site restoration for Bldgs 513 (former concession logistics and storage facility) and 515 (former U.S. Post Office facility) and Bid Option 1 – Bldg 507 (former Ground Transportation Taxi Cab Building). (Contract subject to WCAA Prevailing Wages Requirements.)
