Summary of Specifications:
The Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) is requesting quotes for basic exterior car-wash services (including wheels and underside) of Airport Authority police vehicles on an as-needed basis for a term of four (4) years. Due to security reasons, Airport Authority personnel must remain in vehicles at all times when being serviced. The exterior car wash services are to include the body, wheels and undersides of the vehicles within ten minutes of arriving at the car wash facility (wash only, no coatings, waxing, etc.). The Successful Respondent’s (Contractor’s) car wash facility and equipment must be able to accommodate vehicles with exterior-mounted headlights, flashers, light bars and/or spot lights, etc. The Successful Respondent will also be required to maintain and submit a monthly log with the vehicle number, date serviced and signature of Airport Police employee with the monthly invoice. The successful Respondent's (Contractor's) facility must be located within 10-miles of Detroit Metro Airport (9000 Middle Belt Road, Romulus, MI) as determined by MapQuest, Google Maps, etc.
