Summary of Specifications:
1) INTRODUCTION: Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), the Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) hereby invites businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein to submit Proposals to provide employment and labor law legal services to the Airport Authority.
2) GENERAL INFORMATION: The Wayne County Airport Authority has operational jurisdiction of the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport and Willow Run Airport, pursuant to the provisions of the Michigan Aeronautics Code, as amended, being MCL 259.108-259. 125c, as fully approved by the Federal Aviation Administration. The Airport Authority requires, and will require from time to time in the future, qualified attorney and/or law firms to defend and represent its interests in employment litigation and labor law matters.
The Airport Authority’s bargaining unit structure is currently comprised as follows:
