Summary of Specifications:
INTRODUCTION: Through this Request for Proposal (RFP), the Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) hereby invites businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein to submit a proposal to provide, install and maintain a new fuel management system with pedestals at its three (3) fueling locations: Building 703-Maintenance Complex, Building 802-Fire Station 100 and Building 2614-Willow Run Airport Fuel Farm, as well as one (1) mobile tanker fuel terminal for the Field Maintenance Mobile Tanker and install an integrated Real-Time or Passive Global Positioning System (GPS) on one hundred-fifty (150) vehicles/equipment, while maintaining a seamless transition between the previous system and new system. GENERAL INFORMATION: The Airport Authority seeks a qualified, experienced business to provide, install, and maintain a new fuel management system with an integrated Real-Time or Passive Global Positioning System (GPS) at designated sites, vehicles and equipment at Detroit Metropolitan and Willow Run Airports. Detailed Site Layouts of these locations are provided in Attachment A of this RFP. The successful Proposer (Contractor) will perform all services relative to the installation of the fuel management system and GPS, including but not limited to, grading, excavating, pavement repair, disposal and removal services of existing fueling infrastructure, as directed by the Airport Authority. On average, the current fuel management system is used by approximately 600 separate assets.
