SOLICITATION FOR BIDS FOR WEST BLOOMFIELD PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION CDBG –ADA TRAIL CURB RAMP IMPROVEMENTS Sealed proposals will be received by the West Bloomfield Parks & Recreation Department, 4640 Walnut Lake Rd., West Bloomfield, Michigan 48323 until 10:00 am on July 01, 2015, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud from plan holders of Record and the different items noted, for the construction of Curb Ramp Improvements along the West Bloomfield Trail. Bidders are advised that they are being considered for this work as they are known to have expertise in this field and have the appropriate similar project experience. The West Bloomfield Parks & Recreation Commission will require at least three (3) satisfactory municipal references for similar work in the last two (2) years in Wayne, Oakland, or Macomb County. The project includes the removal of trail crossings at 6 locations and install new concrete ADA compliant crossings at the following locations: West Bloomfield Trail at Orchard Lake Crossings 1, 2 and 3, Arline Drive, Mirror Lake Road and Seminary Road. Quantities or work are as reflected in the Bid Form Section 00410. The plans and specifications are on file and may be examined at the following locations: 1. Johnson and Anderson, Inc. 4494 Elizabeth Lake Road, Waterford, MI 48328. 2. CAM, Construction Association of Michigan, 43636 Woodward Avenue, P.O. Box 3204, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302-3204. Copies may be obtained after 12:00 P.M., June 15, 2015 amount of Twenty-Five Dollars ($25.00) must be deposited for each set of documents obtained. Bid Documents may be obtained by UPS Ground delivery service for an additional fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00). The purchaser must supply the telephone and fax number, street address, and the name of the individual or firm whom Addenda, if any, can be directed.
