1Sealed Bid Proposals for the construction of the WEST BLOOMFIELD PARKS & RECREATION
COMMISSION – DRAKE SPORTS PARK – DETENTION BASIN REMEDIATION in Oakland County,
Michigan will be received by the West Bloomfield Parks & Recreation Commission, 4640 Walnut Lake
Road, West Bloomfield, Michigan 48323 until 2:00 PM Local Time on Monday, June 3, 2024. At
which time and location all bids will be publicly opened, identified and subject to disclosure under the
Freedom of Information Act.
This project consists of the excavation and removal of accumulated sediment, re-grading of detention
basin side slopes and restoration of the original stormwater management volumes for two (2) existing
sediment / detention basins; along with two (2) existing outlet control / swale structures. Miscellaneous
inlet / outlet piping and associated end sections, overflow structures, and sediment filters will be
replaced / rehabilitated as part of the proposed improvements. The contractor will be responsible for
providing their own means of access to the work areas (including any required permits), along with the
“in kind” restoration of all disturbed areas. Soil erosion measures, and temporary construction / tree
protection fencing, will be required as shown on the Drawings.
