This is a Sources Sought Announcement for Tiber Dam Rip Rap and Gravel Supply. This announcement is being used for market research and advanced planning purposes. Proposals are not requested and will not be accepted from this Sources Sought Notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND A CONTRACT WILL NOT BE AWARDED AS A RESULT OF THIS NOTICE.
The Bureau of Reclamation, Missouri Basin Region, Billings Montana, has a requirement for the supply and delivery of materials to a stockpile area near the VFW Campground at Tiber Dam. The VFW Campground at Tiber Dam is approximately 19 miles Southwest of Chester, Montana.
The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, expertise, supervision and other items and incidental services necessary to supply, deliver, and stockpile the quantities of materials noted below. Material specifications are in accordance with MDT Standard and Supplemental Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, 2020 Edition V3.1.

A. Rip Rap:
a. Material: Supply rip rap which meets material specifications in MDT Standard and Supplemental Specifications, Section 701.06 Riprap
b. Gradation: Class II gradation in accordance with MDT Standard and Supplemental Specifications Table 701-21 ¿Table of Gradations ¿ Random Riprap.
B. Gravel:
a. Material: Supply gravel which meets material specifications in MDT Standard and Supplemental Specifications, Section 701.02.04 Crushed Base Course Type ¿A¿
b. Gradation: Grade 7A in accordance with MDT Standard and Supplemental Specifications, Table 701-8 ¿ Table of Gradations ¿ Crushed Base Course Type ¿A¿
The Government is seeking interested small businesses, Indian small business economic enterprises, small disadvantaged businesses, woman-owned small businesses, HubZone small businesses and/or service-disabled veteran owned small business concerns who have the capability necessary to successfully deliver the supplies for this requirement. This procurement shall be awarded using FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items. The NAICS code for this order is 212321, Construction sand and gravel mining; PSC 5610 Mineral construction materials, bulk, with a business size standard of 500 employees.
If an interested small business concern believes they are qualified and capable to perform the delivery of the supplies under this requirement, please submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to successfully accomplish the requirements of this supply acquisition. Please also include your System for Award Management (SAM) Unique Entity Identification (UEI).
The Government will not reimburse any costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought Notice. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will not be bound to this information if a solicitation is issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action, based on the responses to this notice, is at the discretion of the Government.
