This project requires the use of a chain saw and/or brush cutter to hand thin sapling-sized trees in 3 different treatment units. Located west of Kalispell, MT. The Boiling Springs project area is in Section 22 T26N R27W approximately 37 miles southwest of Kalispell, MT (see Attachment B2). The Skookum project area is in Section 24 T26N R27W, approximately 35 miles southwest of Kalispell, MT (see Attachment B2). The McKillop project area is in Section 16 T27N R28W, approximately 43 miles west of Kalispell, MT (see Attachment B1).
