Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Demo existing WH-2,3,4 assemblies including hot water makers, storage tanks, expansion tanks and associated components 2. Cut an equipment access curb into the roof and have it roofed in for permanent access options or cut out and replace door with large enough pass through 3.Provide & Install (2) Lochinvar Armor 1250MBH Hot Water Makers, (2)432 gallon storage tank, (1) expansion tank, (2) Mixing Valves. a. This is the most efficient water heating system available up to 99% thermal efficiency. It also has a 5:1 turndown ratio so it can run at a lower firing rate during low usage times. b. By replacing the (3) separate systems and combining them into (1)system with (2) units reduces your overall maintenance costs. c. By providing (2) units this location will have redundancy that it did not have before. The units communicate with each other and have onboard cascade and auto changeover control. The only situation that could arise that would cause a loss of hot water is if the primary control board goes out, in which case you just have to tell the other unit it is master and land the sensors to that board and you will be back online. We are currently sized for100% redundancy. d. This unit comes with the ConXus board which allows for remote monitoring, control and notification. This would require a wired network connection. e. With this setup we would store 160 degree water and then it will discharge to the (3) existing piping systems, one at 160 degrees and the others would get mixed down to 140 degrees and 120 degrees. 4.Provide and Install all associated piping and accessories for complete system 5.Stainless Steel Flue Piping 6.Combustion Air Piping 7.Pipe Insulation 8.Permit 9.Asbestos Permit 10.Roof Repair 11.Electrical connections
