The City of Omaha is requesting quotes from qualified vendors for cleaning Omaha Police Department (OPD) vehicles. These vehicles may be soiled with dirt, mud, blood, vomit, urine or vermin such as bed bugs, lice, fleas, ticks, etc., or other conditions that would make the vehicle unusable without thorough cleaning. In performing these tasks, the vendor must take proper precautions to protect the person cleaning the vehicle such as utilizing proper equipment and materials for cleaning, disinfecting, and decontaminating the vehicle. For example, special vomit removal product, such as Zep Odorstroyer or equivalent, and cleaners that effectively eradicates the HIV virus (chlorine bleach is not acceptable as a disinfectant). Vendor must take necessary precautions while spraying decontamination for vermin.
