Hot Mix Asphalt Requirements: Hot Mix Material – Paver Placed will be Mix Type SPR as specified in the City of Omaha Asphalt Standard Requirements (Effective 01/01/2024), which is attached. Binder shall be PG64-34. Hot Mix Material – Hand Placed will be Mix Type SPR Fine as specified in the City of Omaha Asphalt Standard Requirements (Effective 01/01/2024), which is attached. Binder shall be PG64-22. Hot Mix Winter Material – Is supplied during cold weather months as further described herein in the Payment section. The minimum temperature at delivery will be 300 degrees Fahrenheit measured at the rear door of the receiving vehicle. Cold Patch Asphalt Requirements – Cold mix asphalt shall be suitable for filling potholes in cold and wet conditions. Material shall be workable at a minimum temperature of 10°F. Material shall adhere to existing pavement when placed even if pavement is wet and/or temperatures are below freezing. The aggregates and asphalt cement used shall conform to the supplier’s specifications for cold mix asphalt design.
