Washoe County maintains certain park properties that contain undeveloped lands that require upkeep and maintenance but are suitable for the growing of hay and/or the pasturing of cattle. The intent of this Invitation to Bid is to contract for the annual maintenance and upkeep of these lands subject to certain restrictions, to a person or persons, offering the County the best value aesthetically and monetarily for annual maintenance and upkeep of these lands in exchange for the right to grow hay and/or graze livestock on the park properties to be maintained. The successful applicant must be qualified and experienced for the intended usage of the park property and such usage must be suitable and acceptable to the Washoe County Community Services Director.
