Specifications include, but are not limited to: 5.1 General: The Clark County School District, herein referred to as the District is requesting proposals from experienced firms with a proven track record in providing tutorial education services to identified private school students who reside in Clark County, Nevada. It is anticipated that Suppliers will provide personnel for both in-person and virtual tutoring services to an estimated 500 students at approximately 30 schools. 5.2 Background: The District provides Equitable Services to identified private school students through the use of contracted Tutorial Services. Equitable Services are defined as services for Title I eligible students. 5.3 Program Overview: The Supplier shall provide additional academic instruction designed to increase the academic achievement of Title I students in private schools. These services may include academic assistance such as tutoring, remediation, and other educational interventions, provided that such approaches are consistent with the content and instruction used by the District and the private school and are aligned with the State of Nevada’s academic content standards. Tutorial services shall be provided outside or during the regular school day on a one to one or small-group basis, to be agreed upon, in collaboration with the assigned Title I representative and private school official, and in one hour increments. Tutorial services must be high quality, research-based, and specifically designed to increase student academic achievement. The selected firm shall closely coordinate its efforts with the District’s Title I representative and if necessary with the District’s purchasing representative.
