Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall resurface 26,000 square feet of basketball courts on the third floor of the Student Recreation & Wellness Center (RWC) (https://www.unlv.edu/maps/campus/RWC). Contractor’s responsibilities include full sand, seal, paint and refinishing of the courts. Work must be performed during UNLV’s winter break, which begins Monday, December 18, 2023. All work must be complete prior to Friday, January 12, 2024. Do not replace the UNLV Rebel logo once it has been removed. All floor penetrations must be taped off to protect from sanding dust. Sanding equipment must be self-contained to capture all dust from sanding operations. The floor must be sanded down to the maple flooring. Replace three transition thresholds in the bay entrances only. The plastic and vinyl trim must be replaced with like or better than products all around the perimeter of the work area.
