The selected vendor will conduct a two-part study (with the option for a third part) using statistically representative methods to examine and evaluate New Hampshire food waste generators, as well as infrastructure for management of surplus food and food waste, as described in subsections B and C of this section. All food waste generators affected by the food waste disposal ban are located within New Hampshire. Surplus food and food waste management facilities (management facilities) evaluated in this study should include facilities within New Hampshire and facilities in adjacent states that are within 20 miles of the border. The study is to be conducted within the calendar year of 2025, with data collection activities commencing winter of 2025. All data compiled in this study must be provided in a format (such as an Excel spreadsheet) that can be manipulated and used by the agency to create ArcGIS maps and other resources.
