Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor will be responsible for sweeping the Downtown area of Derry on Sunday nights and Wednesday nights (four hours each). The roadways include but are not limited to Broadway, Crystal Ave, Birch Street, North Main Street, South Main Street, and Pinkerton Street. This work will usually commence in April (weather dependent) and continue through November of each year. The Town reserves the right to reduce the scope of work as they deem appropriate. The Town of Derry will provide a location to fill the sweeper with water at the Derry Waste Water treatment plant. The contractor will also sweep various areas around town on an as needed basis and in the springtime to remove winter sand. All sweepings will be dumped at the Derry Transfer Station in a predetermined area.
