CC 2021-06 - LAND RECORDS MANAGEMENT CONVERSION SYSTEM FOR THE COUNTY CLERK

The County of Mercer, New Jersey, is requesting proposals and pricing from qualified vendors for a competitive contract to provide records conversion services for land records maintained by the County Clerk beginning with records created with the formation of Mercer County in 1838.Land records created and recorded from 1838 through mid-20th century are some of the oldest and most fragile records under the care and management of the Mercer County Clerk. It is the objective of this proposed project to create alternate formats of these records so that the originals may be retired from use in order to preserve the physical records as historical artifacts and remain in compliance of the law by maintaining the original in perpetuity.
