NOTICE TO BIDDERS CONTRACT NO. 29-15
Notice is hereby given that separate sealed proposals will be received by the Morris County Park Commission (the Park Commission) at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the Morris County Park Commission Administration Building, 300 Mendham Road, Morris Township, New Jersey, for Aquatic Weed and Algae Control in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents.
BIDS WILL BE RECEIVED BY MAIL OR IN PERSON on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at 10 a.m. on the proposal forms provided in the manner designated therein, and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope “Sealed Bid” with the bid number 29-15 and the title “Aquatic Weed and Algae Control” noted. Bids must be received or presented to Renee Klose, Purchasing Coordinator, Morris County Park Commission, 300 Mendham Road, P.O. Box 1295 Morristown, New Jersey 07962-1295. Bidders choosing to submit bids by any means other than in person at the published time for bid opening will assume all liability for the timeliness of their receipt. No bids shall be accepted after the designated time.
Contract documents for the proposed work are on file at the Park Commission Administration Building, 300 Mendham Road, Morris Township, New Jersey. All bids to be considered must be submitted on the forms obtainable at the Park Commission Administration Building on or after Friday, February 13, 2015 during regular business hours, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., prevailing time, Monday through Friday. The above information will also be accessible from the Morris County Park Commission’s website at www.morrisparks.net under the “Public Bids//Vendor Registration” link. The Morris County Park Commission shall not be responsible for full or partial sets of Contract Documents, including addenda, obtained from any other source.
The successful Bidder shall comply with the Affirmative Action Requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Award will be made through a fair and open process pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19.44A-20.4.
