NOTICE is hereby given that separate sealed bids will be received by the Morris County Park Commission (the Park Commission) at 10:00 a.m., prevailing time on Thursday, December 18, 2014, at the Morris County Park Commission Administration Building, 300 Mendham Road, Morris Township, New Jersey, for Building Maintenance Services at the Administrative Building Cultural Center, 300 Mendham Road, Morris Township, New Jersey; Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center, 247 Southern Boulevard, Chatham, New Jersey; Pyramid Mountain Natural Historic Area Visitor Center, 472A Boonton Avenue, Boonton, New Jersey; Central Park Restroom Buildings A & B, Central Avenue, Morris Plains, New Jersey; Craigmeur Recreation Complex, 1175 Green Pond Road, Newfoundland, New Jersey. Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Morris County Park Commission and marked with the name and address of the Bidder and the Contract Title and Number. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) (not to exceed $20,000.00) of the total bid, payable to the Morris County Park Commission, as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded to the Bidder he will enter into a contract with the Park Commission. NO BIDS WILL BE RECEIVED BY MAIL. On Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., prevailing time, a call will be made for all bids to be submitted at this time, in person, by a bidder or a bidder’s representative. No bids shall be accepted after the designated time. Contract Documents for the proposed work are on file at the Park Commission Administration Building, 300 Mendham Road, Morris Township, New Jersey. All bids to be considered must be submitted on the forms obtainable at the Park Commission Administration Building on or after Friday, December 5, 2014, during regular business hours, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., prevailing time, Monday through Friday. The above information will also be accessible from the Morris County Park Commission’s website at www.morrisparks.net under the “Public Bids/Vendor Registration” link. The Park Commission shall not be responsible for full or partial sets of Contract Documents, including addenda, obtained from any other source. All bidders MUST complete an inspection of the sites. All Site inspections will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. No appointments will be required for the Administration Building Cultural Center, Great Swamp, and Pyramid Mountain. EACH BIDDER MUST COMPLETE AND SUBMIT WITH THE BID the Ownership Disclosure Statement, Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran, Affirmative Action Assurance Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Bidder’s Questionnaire contained in the Contract Documents. It is requested that all bidders submit with the bid a copy of the State of New Jersey Business Registration. The successful Bidder shall comply with the Affirmative Action Requirements of N.J.S.A. 10.5-31 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 17:27. Award will be made through a fair and open process pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19.44A-20.4.
