EXEMPT SERVICES
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES – DAMS INSPECTION (RFP #203 -17)
June 2, 2017
The Morris County Park Commission (MCPC) is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide professional services to inspect two Class II dams.

INTRODUCTION

The scope of services may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provide all work necessary to complete Regular Inspection of two Class II dams, in accordance with applicable requirements of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) Dam Safety Standards in N.J.A.C. 7:20, filing of the inspection reports with NJDEP and updating the associated Emergency Action Plans.
Said Request for Proposals (RFP) will be at the Morris County Park Commission Administration Building, 300 Mendham Road, Morristown, New Jersey, on or after June 2, 2017, during regular business hours, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., prevailing time, Monday through Friday.
Qualified firm/consultant is being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.1, et seq. The successful bidder shall comply with the Affirmative Action Requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
Firm/Consultant is advised of the responsibility to file an annual disclosure statement on political contributions with the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.15 (P.L. 2005, c.271, s.3) if the firm/consultant receives contracts in excess of $50,000.00 from public entities in a calendar year. It is the firm’s responsibility to determine if filing is necessary. Additional information on this requirement is available from ELEC at 888-313-3532 or at www.elec.state.nj.us.
Proposals must be received at the Morris County Park Commission office at The Morris County Park Commission Administration Building no later than 10:00 a.m. on Thursday June 22, 2017. The proposals will be opened and the contents announced at that time.
The proposals should be clearly marked “Proposal - Professional Services – Dams Inspection” to the attention of James Hutzelmann, P.E., Manager of Engineering Services, Morris County Park Commission, Administration Building, 300 Mendham Road, P.O. Box 1295, Morristown, New Jersey, 07960-1295.
