Notice is hereby given that separate sealed proposals will be received by the Purchasing Agent of the County of Morris on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 10:00 AM, Eastern Standard prevailing time in the Office of Purchasing, Room 517, 5th Floor, Administration & Records Building, 10 Court Street, Morristown, New Jersey for the respective project as follows:

2022 Milling & Resurfacing of Various County Roadways
RFP/RFQs are available for downloading for FREE from BidNet Direct at http://www.morriscountybidsystem.com/, or may be picked up on or after Wednesday, September 15, 2021 in the Division of Engineering and Transportation located in the Schuyler Annex Building, 30 Schuyler Place, 3rd Floor, Morristown, New Jersey, 07960, between the hours of 8:30 AM-4:30 PM. The County of Morris shall not be responsible for full or partial sets of Contract Documents, including addenda, obtained from any other source.
Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Respondents, and the RFP/RFQ number and title spelled out on the outermost packaging, addressed to the Purchasing Agent of the County of Morris.
Proposals shall be delivered to the Purchasing Agent either in person at the hour designated, or previous thereto, by delivery or mail, at the Morris County Purchasing Division, Room 517, 5th Floor, Administration & Records Building, PO Box 900, Morristown, New Jersey, 07963 0900. No proposals shall be accepted after the designated time, and Morris County will not assume responsibility for proposals forwarded by mail or delivery service, nor any other conveyance.
Respondents are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
Bid and Proposal requests herein are solicited through a fair and open process, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq.

In accordance with the Governor’s Executive Orders and guidance regarding Covid-19, the County of Morris requests that the public maintain SOCIAL DISTANCING. Accordingly, we ask that Bidders/Respondents may wish to consider not attending the Bid Openings in person. We do note that if Bidders/Respondents choose to attend, they are required to be screened by Courthouse security. If they show any signs of illness, they will not be permitted access to the building.
Due to the circumstances, during the bid opening process, a bid review and providing unit prices will not take place at the openings. Instead, this information will be posted online once available.
Bidders/Respondents are encouraged to MAIL in bids and responses. If they must be hand delivered, the County of Morris has a drop box located outside of the Purchasing Office, 5th floor of the Administration and Records Building, 10 Court Street, Morristown, New Jersey.

TABULATION SHEET: Available on Bidnet within 1 week AFTER close of bid. Award of contract by the Board of County Commissioners will be made within 60 days.
