LEGAL NOTICE
Separate SEALED BIDS will be received by the Purchasing Agent of the County of Morris on December 13, 2024, at 11:00am, Eastern Standard Time in the Office of Purchasing, Morristown, New Jersey for the respective project as follows:

Workstation/Console Furniture and Carpet Replacement Rebid

Bids are available for downloading FOR FREE from http://www.morriscountybidsystem.com/ or may be picked up on or after December 3, 2024, at the Morris County Purchasing Division, 10 Court Street, Morristown, during regular business hours. The County of Morris shall not be responsible for full or partial sets of Contract Documents, including addenda, obtained from any other source.
Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the County of Morris and marked with the name and address of the Bidder and the Contract Title and Number. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid, payable to the County of Morris, as a guarantee that if the contract is awarded to the Bidder they will enter into a contract and provide the necessary bonds, and insurance as required by the County and the Division of Risk Management.
Bid proposals shall be delivered to the Purchasing Agent either in person at the hour designated, or previous thereto, by delivery or mail, at the Morris County Purchasing Division, Room 517, 5th Floor, Administration & Records Building, PO Box 900, Morristown, New Jersey, 07963-0900. No bids shall be accepted after the designated time, and Morris County will not assume responsibility for bids forwarded by mail or delivery service, nor any other conveyance.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq.
The Source of Funding for this Project is either wholly or partially funded by Federal American Rescue Plan Act State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund dollars and adherence to all applicable federal, state and local laws is required.
Bids are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.2, et seq., and as such, contractors are exempt from the limitations on making political contributions under that law. Further, for that reason, as well as because of a language in the New Jersey's Annual Appropriations Act, refusal to disclose campaign contributions otherwise required by N.J.S.A. 19:44A20.2 et seq. and 19:44A-20.25 et seq., will not adversely affect your consideration for award.
The vendor shall maintain all documentation related to products, transactions, or services under this contract for a period of five years from the date of final payment. Such records shall be made available to the New Jersey Office of the State Comptroller upon request. N.J.A.C § 17:44-2.2

Bidders/Respondents are encouraged to MAIL in bids and responses. If they must be hand delivered, the County of Morris Purchasing Office is located on the 5th floor of the Administration and Records Building, 10 Court Street, Morristown, New Jersey.
TABULATION SHEET: Available on Bidnet within 1 week AFTER close of bid. Award of contract by the Board of County Commissioners will be made within
60 days of bid opening.
