This specification is prepared for the purpose of entering into multiple contracts for the removal of icy conditions and snow plowing on various County of Morris road sections for the snow and ice season starting in the fall of 2021 through the spring of 2024, with an option to extend for two additional years. Bids will be accepted and awarded by sections. The snow plowing and icy conditions contractor (hereafter known as the contractor) shall list on the appropriate form herein any and all vehicles, equipment, driver they shall provide in order to efficiently perform the work, and said contractor shall be solely responsible for the safe, proper and lawful use and maintenance of the contracted equipment. Further, the contractor shall secure all licenses, registrations and insurance certificates required of him by law and this Bid for the execution of this work and shall comply with all Federal, State and local laws, ordinances or other regulations relating to the performance of this contract. CONTRACTORS MUST FURNISH CLASS TRUCKS SPECIFIED IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARD OF BID. CONTRACTOR MUST SUPPLY ALL EQUIPMENT NECESSARY TO ACCOMPLISH SNOW AND ICE REMOVAL ACCORDING TO THESE SPECIFICATIONS. THE BIDDER SHALL COMPLETE THE EQUIPMENT LIST PROVIDED, SHOWING ALL EQUIPMENT TO BE PROVIDED FOR EACH SECTION OF WORK.
